Kriti Sanon's upcoming film 'Bachchan Pandey' is just few days away from its release and naturally, the actress is super excited about it. The movie will feature Kriti in the role of a director who decides to make a movie about Akshay Kumar's character, a dreaded gangster. In a recent conversation with a news outlet, Kriti talked about her character Mayra and shared what tempted her to take up the project.

She told PTI, "It had all the elements, action, comedy, drama, thrill which worked for me. It is smartly done and within that world, I feature as this urban girl, a role I hadn’t played in a while. She is a gutsy girl who enters this poles-apart world to make a film on a gangster who can kill her any moment. I found that hook very interesting."

Sharing her experience of working alongside Akshay Kumar, Kriti stated, "What also worked for me was that my chemistry with Akshay in the film is different from what we had done in Housefull 4, it is an entirely new space so there was a chance to do something I hadn’t done before."

Directed by Farhad Samji, 'Bachchan Pandey' also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi and it is going to release on 18th of March.
