Kriti Karbanda a Punjabi born in New Delhi brought up in Bangalore made her debut in a Telugu film opposite Sumanth, grand son of grand man of Telugu cinema Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, is making her debut in Kannada cinema opposite Chiranjeevi Sarja (nephew of Tamil actor Arjun).

Kriti Karbanda, looking very sweet and confident, addressed the film media at Gavi Gangadeshwara Temple in Hanumanthnagar after the muhurat of her first Kannada film ‘Chiru’ directed by Mahesh Babu, one of the successful directors of Kannada cinema for producer Suresh Jain.

15 years of ad world experience Kriti always wanted to be a part of the Kannada cinema industry. When she was approached she felt the warm and comfortable feeling. She plays a level headed heroine who is very confident and definitely not girl next door, she says. This is a role any heroine would take up with great respect she stated.

A student of Mahaveen Jain College in Bangalore and JD Institute of Fashion Technology Kriti has appeared is some of the top advertising company products.
