This year, thanks to 'Uppena', Tollywood has got a new star heroine in the shape of Krithi Shetty. While the young actress has had only one hit at the box-office, she is poised to be the next big name it seems.
Of late, the model-turned-actress is said to be showing little interest in small films. She is rumoured to be telling producers that he has got no dates to spare for them.

Krithi is busy currently with three projects. One of them is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. In Nani's 'Shyam Singha Roy', the pretty lady will be seen as one of the heroines. In Sudheer Babu's 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali', Mohankrishna Indraganti has cast her in a full-fledged role. She has allotted bulk dates for the project. In Ram Pothineni's bilingual, Krithi will be cast by director N Linguswamy in a typical commercial role.
With an eye on big-ticket projects for the next few years, Krithi is smartly not falling into the trap of doing less significant projects.
