Krish's film sees controversy because of Kangana?

'Manikarnika', the Krish Jagarlamudi-directed biopic on Jhansi Laxmibai, is in the news because Sonu Sood has exited from the project. Krish, who is busy directing Balakrishna's 'NTR', is not in a position to complete Manikarnika's pending scenes and patch works before November or so.
In the meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut (who is playing the titular role) has decided to complete the pending portions all by herself. While nobody knows whether Krish has any objection to the actress wielding the megaphone, a bigger controversy has erupted with Kangana deciding to reshoot all the portions involving Sonu Sood with a new actor.
While Sonu has submitted that he won't be able to give extra dates as he is busy with 'Simmba', Kangana has claimed that he doesn't want to work under a female director.
On the face of it, Kangana's words are not believable. No professional actor in his senses would say no to a project just because a woman is at the helm. It seems 'Manikarnika', which will hit the screens next Republic Day, has landed into a controversy only because of Kangana's suspicious statements.
