Krishnudu's Chandrudu is Dasvidaniya remake

Remember Vinay Pathak's Dasvidaniya (meaning 'Goodbye' in Russian), which stole many hearts and won several awards three years back? The heart-touching drama is being remade in Telugu as Chandrudu, and Krishnudu is playing the film's main lead. Jayasudha, Kalyani, Shiva Balaji and Jai will be seen in other important roles.

Directed by Sathyanarayana Dwarapudi, the film sees the coming together of an ensemble cast. Besides the aforementioned names, Abhinaya, MS Narayana, Dharmavarapu, Krishna Bhagawan, Tagubothu Ramesh are also seen.

Music is by Parthu. Lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar, Kulasekhar and Gurucharan. Editing is by KR Swamy. Art is by Venkatesh. Dances are by Prem Rakshit, Swarna, and Sathya. Chandrudu, which the makers hope will be another Vinayakudu for Krishnudu, is produced by Satishbabu Mandava.
