Krishnashtami may have been received to not-so-encouraging audience feedback. Krishnashtami may have been slammed for being formulaic. But Dil Raju's name seems to have worked magic for Sunil at the Box Office. Initial reports suggest that the family entertainer, thanks to its well-sounding title and the well-crafted trailers, besides of course the credibility of the producer, has garnered the highest ever openings in Sunil's career.

The worldwide collections are pegged at Rs. 3 crore. For a film made on a cost of Rs. 20 crore, the weekend collections may well be even more encouraging.

Starring along with Sunil are Nikki Galrani, Dimple Chopade, Ashuthosh Rana, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam in the main. It has to be seen if the ensemble cast manage to salvage the film in the coming days.
