After a short break, comedian turned hero Sunil is back in action with his next film Krishnashtami. Directed by Vasu Varma of Josh fame, the film`s shooting is wrapped up and the post production formalities are in full swing. Producer Dil Raju is planning to release the film on January 15 for Pongal.

Meanwhile, reports have arrived that the audio launch of Krishnashtami will be held on December 27 in Hyderabad. Nikki Galrani and Dimple Chopade are playing the female leads. Dinesh wields the baton of music, while Chota K Naidu handles the camera.

Sunil will be seen as an NRI who lands in India under some tricky situations. His last outing Bhimavaram Bullodu ended up as a flop at the box office and the actor has pinned all his hopes on Krishnashtami.
