The Pre-Release event of 'Krisharjuna Yuddham' was held on Saturday in Tirupathi. Besides the cast and crew members, Dil Raju graced the occasion as chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Hiphop Tamizha said, "'Dhruva' was my first film. I did 'KAY' after almost a year. It was great doing 'Dhari Choodu', a folk song. Penchal Das has rendered it remarkably well. I want to encourage such talented singers more and more. The film's RR has come out really well. It was a lot of fun watching Nani's performance during the RRR. Besides comedy, it's also a thrilling film."
Dil Raju said, "It's great that this event is happening in Tirupathi. People have come to attend this event from different locations. Merlapaka Gandhi is going to score his hat-trick with 'KAY'. Tamizha is getting a rave response. It's good to see people screaming as Anupama Parameswaran was coming onto the dais. Rukshar is going to have a great launch with this film. Producer Saahu is my family friend. It's good that the hero of their very first film is Nani. When the story is good, everything else is good."
Anupama said, "This is the first time that I have come to Tirupathi. I had always wanted to come here. The director penned exciting dialogues for the movie. The songs have already become big hits. I have got a few scenes with Rukshar. Nani is a perfect fellow. He takes care of everything."
Rukshar said that it was great to work with the team.
Merlapaka Gandhi said, "It was just for 10 minutes that I had narrated the story to Nani garu. He said yes immediately. Nani garu delivered the dialogues in Chittoor dialect with ease. The heroines have done a fine job in the roles of Subba Lakshmi and Riya. The songs and the RR have come out really well."
Nani said, "I have been to Tirupathi more than I have ever been to my grandpa's place. Every Telugu is a Tirupathi guy! Gandhi used to ask me everything. It was like working with own brother. I have enjoyed the most working on this movie. Having loved the songs of 'Dhruva', I and Gandhi felt that Tamizha should be roped in. 'KAY' is the kind of film you can watch with your family and enjoy for 2.5 hours."
The film releases on April 12.
