Yesteryear hero Krishnam Raju, who has seen success as an actor, producer and politician, has a wish. He wants to direct a movie. Speaking to the media on the occasion of his birthday, which falls on the 20th, Mr. Raju said that he was contented that he saw mostly success where ever he went.
Saying that Krishnaveni, which he produced under his home banner Gopikrishna Movies, was a hit, he also said that he was considering a remake of the same in the light of the current trends. Billa, a recent home production, in which he was seen along with his relative Prabhas, was a commercial success, he said.
Mr. Raju said that he wanted to concentrate more on films now and that he was open to doing roles in films if someone approached him with good roles. In an open-hearted confession, the veteran said that he liked the qualities of patience and dedication towards his profession in him.
He took an open swipe at the trend today, where we do not see heroes acting in more number of films. "We used to do at least 2 films for the sake of the industry, apart from the 4 other films, every year," the actor quoted.
