Krishna Vamsi to direct 'CM' Balakrishna

In an industry where a hit-maker qualifies to be called a star director only on making a film with a superstar, Krishna Vamsi was a different man in the 1990s, when he acquired the image of a hatke creator. The plans to make a movie with Chiranjeevi did not materialize for some reasons. When he made Murari, Mahesh was but only a star-in-the-making.
KV is now set to direct Balakrishna. Always the one to tell the story from the standpoint of the common man, and never the one to go overboard in espousing causes, the maker has chosen to direct the Nandamuri star in a film titled as Common Man. It is to be seen if the movie will have political overtones, but what is sure is that KV is coming up with a message-oriented film, like Mahatma.
The movie will be produced by YVS Chowdhary, the new filmmaker with a speck of 'Nippu' in him. This brave individual, who is himself a director, is gearing up to make it big as a producer with this supposedly multi-crore film.
You will be forgiven to think that KV is not in good form (wasn't Mogudu a nightmarish family drama?). Balayya will be keenly awaited as on-screen CM nonetheless.
