This is a good laugh riot for the summer vacation. With multiple responsibilities Mohan has done a neat work to grab the attention and his work is exceptional in the second half. Firstly his niche for comedy, punching dialogues is well supported by lead actors. In addition to it Pravin Godkhindi music is a major plus point of the film. In the songs the grandeur of V Ravichandran films are seen and in screenplay plus dialogues Mohan is another Ramesh Aravind in the making.
Sundar (Mohan) is a fashion photographer and Krishna (Ramesh Aravind) affectionately called as Krish is the only male lecturer in the female college. Krish has great aversion to girls and he wants to be a bachelor throughout his life. His intention is to sit on `Padmasana' (yoga posture) in the water like how his mentor Swamiji has done. On the other hand Sunder has a beautiful girl friend Andy (Neethu) but the one waiting for Krish in the house is Lakshmi (Nidhi Subbaiah) who is very traditional.
In a comedy film, things have to go wrong and exchange to spill out comedy. That is what happens when Sundar leaves to Kerala on a personal property dispute. Andy follows him because an engagement is on the cards for her in the house. When Andy leaves for Kerala at the same time Krish also leaves to meet his mentor `Jalachara Swami' because in his house, he is also facing the stress of engagement. In Kerala, Krish finds that his swamiji is a fake when he knows that he is living with three wives and sitting on a stool in the edge of the river with Padmasana. Dejected Krish gives up his bachelor thoughts.
There is a mistaken identity when Andy and Krish win a lucky scheme in the bus in which they are traveling. Things go out of control after the photo of Krish and Andy is published in the newspaper as best couple. That leads to Sunder and Lakshmi travel to Kerala. Tracing the missing ones in the house, the elders also follow to Kerala.
On the way Sunder and Lakshmi know each other better and the opponents in thoughts Krish and Andy become close. In the Honeymoon Guest house all the artists in the film converge makes it interesting climax.
Ramesh Aravind makes a cake walk, Mohan is mesmerizing, Neethu is luscious, Nidhi is a treat to watch in her role. Dattanna and Sunder as Iyengars give the best among all in the supporting roles.
In the dialogues department Mohan takes full credit for his up to date style. He is a well informed person on the happenings in society one would know from his dialogues.
Pravin Godkindi the classical musician with great expertise in flute has showed exemplary skill. Three of his songs are well scored and captured beautifully on the exotic locations. When the camera is placed in the Kerala surroundings, the screen becomes nature friendly. Cameraman Nageshwara Rao deserves applause for his fine work.
This is not disappointing at all. Mohan has taken care well of his directorial venture. Go watch it.
Scoring 7.5/10
