Here is one Kannada actor with over four decades of stint Honnavalli Krishna, a fond member of Dr Rajakumar family completing 1000th film from ‘Boothayyana Mommaga Ayyu’.

On this feat of 1000th film Honnavalli Krishna was honored at an affectionate meet at Chamundesware Studio. Power star Puneeth Rajakumar very close to Honnavalli Krishna right from his childhood did the honors on veteran actor Honnavalli Krishna. A silver crown, shawl, Mysuru Topi was part of the honor from BMA team.

Power star Pueeth Rajakumar remembered his childhood, I used to act what Krishnaji was showing me. There is in fact no preparation required to speak on Krishna because of my close affinity. As a college friend Honnavalli Krishna acted with my father Dr Raj, brother Shivanna but not with me. I would assure that he will have a good role in my next film he said.

On the pertinent issue of veterans getting opportunity to work, humble actor Puneeth Rajakumar said including him we are not offering work to our seniors. This should be followed he felt. Like how we utilized services in Rajakumar, we would do in future he said.

Honnavalli Krishna reacting to the honor said I am from University called Dr Rajakumar family. The respect for all came to all at young age. The affection of Dr Raj, his mother Smt Lakshmamma were still fresh in my memory. Puneeth grasping capacity was very good from young age.
