Krish to compete with box office heavyweights

After 'Gautamiputra Satakarni', Krish is doubtless a star director to reckon with. 'Manikarnika' was described as a Hindi-Telugu-Tamil biopic when it was launched in May. So, it might well release simultaneously in all the three languages.
Come 27 April 2018, he will have to compete with two BO leaders in the Telugu markets. It's because 'Manikarnika' will release on the same date as 'Bharat Ane Nenu' and 'Na Peru Surya'.
Starring Kangana Ranaut in the role of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, the film has been written by Vijayendra Prasad. (The writer agreed to write the movie on the condition that Krish would be the director).
Produced by Kamal Jain, its dialogues and lyrics are by Prasoon Joshi, the new CBFC chairman. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy are the music directors. It's presented by Zee Studios.
