Looks like Krish's films are coming to be associated with historical/pious places without he planning for them. 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' fell into place much like a miracle. Krish and his crew members had many lucky co-incidences throughout the shoot, because of which they could wrap it up in 79 days.
His next film, a Hindi-Telugu-Tamil release, is going to be launched in the holy town of Varanasi later today. Titled 'Manikarnika', it tells the story of the queen of Jhansi, a household name in India.
The super-talented Kangana Ranaut is playing the titular role. And it has been written by none other than Vijayendra Prasad, who has to his credit 'Baahubali' and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. "Kangna is likely to release a huge 20-ft poster of the movie and also perform a Ganga Aarthi in Varanasi later in the evening during the launch," the film's spokesperson says.
To be produced by Kamal Jain, it is written by Prasoon Joshi. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy are the music directors.
