Director Krish has donated the prize money he won as part of the National Award for his film Kanche, to the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad. He handed over the prize money to Nandamuri Balakrishna, his Gautamiputra Satakarni star.

"I'm donating the National Award prize money to Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital, which treated my mother & many with utmost care and excellence," he said on Twitter.

One appreciates Krish's decision to donate the money, thereby standing as an example to many.
