'Manikarnika', the historical biopic on Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, is done with its shoot.  Kangana Ranaut is playing the titular role in this Hindi film that will be released in Telugu and Tamil as well.

As is known, the 'Simran' actress is going to look quite majestic in this biopic, bearing testimony to Krish's directorial abilities.  Kangana had got trained in stunts from Nick Powell of Hollywood.  A team of Hollywood action trainers had come to Hyderabad to train 300 local fighters in sword fighting and horse-riding.

K Vijayendra Prasad has penned the story.  He wrote the movie on the condition that Krish should be the director.  The biopic is going to have a few surprises.  One of them is that of the character Jhalkaribai, a warrior-soldier, who was an instrumental force in the Rani of Jhansi's army.

The buzz is that the entertainer will hit the screens in August.
