Ravi Teja plays a fiery cop in Gopichand Malineni's 'Krack', which has locked its release date. Marking the Mass Maharaja's birthday today, the makers of the action-drama have revealed the release date of the movie.

'Krack' will head to theatres on May 8. With it being summer, expect Ravi Teja to benefit from the holiday season.

The film marks the comeback of Shruti Haasan to Telugu. Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' villain Samuthirakani are part of the cast.

Based on true incidents that happened in the Telugu states a few years ago, the film has been shot at Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City.

After 'Disco Raja', Ravi Teja has pinned hopes on this movie, whose music is by SS Thaman. Produced by Tagore Madhu, its dialogues are by 'Sye Raa' writer Sai Madhav Burra.
