Popular comedy actor Bala who found fame through the comedy show 'Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru' is also a star in the equally popular 'Cook with Comali'. He entertained fans with his timing comedies for the last three seasons. He is currently busy as an anchor and event host as well as doing roles in moies.
Bala, who is not very well to do is involved in several charitable works with the little money he earns in the small screen and cinema. He has been educating underprivileged children and helping the destitute elders. Recently he was the first to visit veteran comedian Bava Lakshmanan admitted to the government hospital and helped him financially.
Bala, celebrated his birthday a couple of days back by donating a brand new ambulance to a old age home. Sharing the video on Instagram he wrote "My dream of five years has come true. I thought that somehow I would buy an ambulance for the elders at the home, but I had no money. After a long time, I somehow managed to buy the vehicle with my own money. Apart from emergencies, the elderly need not spend for autos when they go for checkups but can now use the ambulance. I will take care of the fuel and other expenses."
Netizens have lauded Bala for his magnanimous gesture and wished him a long and happy life. He thanked them back acknowledging that it is through the support of fans he could achieve his long time dream.
