Now KPAC Lalitha Malayalam actor recalls Sridevi, her experience with the legendary actress.How she worked with her in the film Devaragam which was directed by (late) Bharathan. The only reason she acted in it was that to keep her ailing mother’s promise. Bharathan took her photo when she was three and half years old for a soap advertisement, in which she was dressed as Lord Krishna, the very first time she faced camera was for him.

After a long time he approached her with the subject of Devaragam and due to her mother, Rajeshwari Ayyappan has given the word that she will act in his film. She has given nod for acting in his film. During the time Sridevi was at the peak of her career and her remuneration was huge and yet based on her mother’s word, she decided to act in Devaragam.

Sridevi has breathed her last at Dubai due to a cardiac arrest. As per information, she was in Dubai to attend a family wedding.
