2020 has been an unfortunate year for people all over the world, as the year began with the Coronavirus outbreak which wiped off lives across the world. India has been witnessing huge spike in the number of cases everyday as well.
Adding to the misery, yesterday an Air India express flight crashed during landing in Kozhikode, with 191 passengers aboard. 18 have been killed and many grievously injured in this shocking accident. Actor Sonu Sood, who has been helping people during the lockdown, expressed his condolences, tweeting "Heartbroken to know about the #Airindia tragedy..imagine the plight of the families who were waiting for their loved ones stranded abroad for months. No point in showing your concern only in words, It’s time to come together and do something for them. They need u. Do ur bit??".
Sonu Sood made a request to people, to adopt a patient in a hospital, and further tweeted "My humble request to everyone who can afford to help a needy?? Please come out of ur comfort world, adopt a patient in any hospital near you if you can or atleast someone’s medicine expenses. If you all do this I promise you half the misery will just vanish.??#wakeupcall".
