As reported earlier Mammootty has signed a new movie with scriptwriter turned director Sethu titled 'Kozhi Thankachan'. The movie has been in the news ever since it was announced. As per the latest update, the movie will go on floors by September.

Touted to be a full-on entertainer, Mammootty will essay the titular role Thankachan, a rural middle-aged man hailing from Kuttanad. 'Happy Wedding' fame Anu Sithara will be playing one of three main leads in the movie. Reportedly, some popular actresses including Deepti Sati, Miya George, Vedhika, Nyla Usha and many others are in talks to essay the other two female leads of the movie.

Produced by Muraleedharan and Santha Muraleedharan under the banner Anantha Vision, 'Kozhi Thankachan' will have Unni Mukundan working behind the camera as an associate director of the film.
