Kottayam Kunjachan is a character that is close to Malayalai hearts. Megastar Mammootty had essayed the title role with much aplomb. The comic entertainer had also done well on its release.

T.S. Suresh Babu was the director of this movie. Though this movie was a mega hit, he could not replicate his success in his successive movies. It is heard that the team is gearing up to join hands yet again. Further details are awaited.
