The season 2 of TVF's web show 'Kota Factory' was released couple days back and it has managed to match the quality of the near perfect first season. The second season of this black and white show was a continuation of story from right where the first season ended. While the previous season was focused to paint a picture of the atmosphere that Kota students face, the follow up season focuses more on the characters themselves.
Fortunately, in the new season, fan favourite character Jeetu Bhaiya gets considerably larger screentime. His character arc follows him leaving his job and opening up his own independent coaching centre. The usual gang of friends is back with a new member in it.
The direction and the cinematography are also top notch. Raghav Subbu manages to capture the grime, dull and competitive life of coaching students. There are several subtle visually significant shots. Most noticeable of them are the birdcage scene with signifies Vaibhav and his friend held captive by their own dreams and the drone shot of Jeetu Bhaiya driving his car around taking a different path than the traffic.
All in all, 'Kota Factory' season 2 manages to tell an inspiring, entertaining and relatable tale of coaching centre students of Kota and their teachers as well.
