Koratala Siva has responded to the rumours that he was a in a relationship with Sri Reddy.
"When I first heard about the gossip, I was tensed. Even if one has nothing to hide, one is rattled by allegations. I have been following the developments regarding the gossip for the last one week. I was advised not to speak about it because she (Sri Reddy) didn't take my name. However, certain screenshots (of his WhatsApp convos with Sri Reddy) have been discussed in the media. Let me tell you all that I am totally opposed to casting couch. I am very serious about that," the director said.
"I have done four movies till now. My colleagues know how I treat women. I treat them with a lot of respect. It's not about men or women. It's about humans. I don't prefer to call even a small artist by his or her name. With due respect towards women and their fight for justice, I support them," Koratala commented.
"I would feel bad if there is even one wrong kind of moment in my movie. I lost my dad when I was a kid. My mother brought me up by working hard. Besides her, it's with my wife that I have spent most of life. My wife is a follower of Swami Vivekananda. We at home abide by certain values," Koratala said.
Notably, the director didn't take Sri Reddy's name even once.
