Director Koratala Shiva, who is prepping up for the shooting of Janatha Garage is likely to direct Ram Charan in his next, says the buzz. The director recently met Charan and discussed about the possibility of working in a project for which the Magadheera star evinced interest. Koratala and Charan were supposed to team up for Srimanthudu but things never materialised and the project went to Mahesh Babu.

Sources say Shiva pitched a storyline to Charan and impressed with the plot, the actor has asked the director to develop it into a script. Meanwhile, Ram Charan's Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan is ready to take off later this month. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film will showcase Charan as a fiery cop. The duo's new project will go onto the sets once they wrap up their current commitments.
