The National Award winning actress Konkona Sen Sharma was on a break for some time and she was last seen on the big screen in a brief role in Vishal Bhardwaj's ‘7 Khoon Maaf’.

She had also worked in Vishal's ‘Omkara’ too where she had an important role to play. Konkona will again be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj and Ekta Kapoor's 'Ek Thi Daayan', a supernatural thriller.

"I am very excited because I am coming after a long time as I had a baby. Now my baby is a little older and I have come back with quite an interesting film. This is the first time I am doing horror and I am collaborating with some great people like Vishal, Ekta, Huma Qureshi, so I am very excited about it," remarked Konkona.

The actress last year gave birth to a baby boy and believes 'Mother-Hood' has changed her completely and helped her grow as an Actress. Konkona also admitted that she does gets scared by every little thing.

"I agree that Motherhood has helped me grow as an Actress. Since I am doing a Horror Film, yes I do get little scared by everything. During my childhood, I used to hear that at night you must not talk about ghosts. So we as Kids were always scared of talking about Ghost or Evil Spirits at night," shared the actress.

‘Ek Thi Daayan’ is being produced by Balaji Telefilms and directed by Kannan Iyer. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kalki Koechlin and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles.
