Konkana gifts her inspiration for 'Gour Hari Dastaan'

'Gour Hari Dastaan' is a biopic based on the freedom fighter Gour Hari Das, where KonkonaSen Sharma plays Mrs. Laxmi Das, wife of Gour Hari Das. It is said that Konkona spent a lot of time understanding her character for which Laxmi Das helped her in the best possible manner.
Following which The young actress, who had taken a lot of inspiration from Mrs. Laxmi Das for the film, wanted to gift her something special. Our sources revealed, Konkana had specially purchased the sari from her hometown Kolkata. It's a beautiful peach and white authentic Bengali sari that she personally shopped for. It's a small gesture to thank Mrs. Laxmi Das for all the help and support that was offered during the shoot of the film.
When asked the actress on the same she says, "I troubled Ms. Das a lot. I literally stayed with them for over 40 days - they treated me just like their daughter. This is just a small way to thank them not only for the inspiration I got from them but the love they showered during my stay."
Konkona always gets into the character and delivers her best onscreen. She usually spends a lot of time preparing before she faces the camera.
