A team of police officers has arrested a small time actor identified as Moorthy alias Krishnamoorthy for allegedly selling Ganja in Marina.

Tamil Nadu Police department sources say that Moorthy who has acted in supporting roles in many Tamil films including the upcoming Bobby Simha-Nikki Galrani political thriller 'Ko 2' has been selling the banned drug items like Ganja with a group of accomplices in Marina and he has also been supplying Ganja to male and female junior artist.

A few days back Police spotted the accused in the Marina but he managed to flee the spot. Later the police personnel spotted his bike in a residential complex near marina. They posed as Corporation civic workers while entering the home and nabbed the accused. Moorthy and his partner in crime Lalitha have been lodged in prison and investigation is going on.

Police have not ruled out the possibility of some prominent faces of Kollywood being included in Krishnamoorthy's clientele. They have started the operation to unearth the entire network and book everyone in the loop.
