Tovino Thomas will be playing the lead role in Aashiq Abu's upcoming movie 'Mayanadhi'. Now, the latest update is that the team has roped in Kollywood's most sought after villain Harish Uthaman to play an important character.

Harish who is all thrilled about his second Mollywood venture, took to his Facebook handle to reveal the news. In Mollywood, Harish was last seen in 'Mumbai Police' starring Prithviraj in the lead role.

Touted to be a romantic entertainer, 'Mayanadhi' will be based on a real-life incident that happened many years ago. The urban love story written by Amal Neerad will have Aishwarya Lekshmi as the leading lady.

'Mayanadhi's screenplay is written by Shyam Pushkaran and Dileesh Nair, who had earlier penned Aashiq`s Salt and Pepper, 22 Female Kottayam and Da Thadiya. The cinematography is by Jayesh Mohan. Stay tuned for further updates!
