A film with title of a place Kollegala` back after a small gap after first media meet. This time with audio CD to the market as first promotion of the film! Four songs of Kollegala` scored by AT Ravish were released in a crowded gathering on Monday morning. The former deputy chief minister R Ashok released audio CD brought to the market by Lahari Recording Company.

The guest on this occasion R Ashok observed that the only way to fight other languages with Kannada is quality in subject and technicality. He said the title Kollegala` has a mass appeal. Kollegala` is known for black magic`. There is a clash between Mantra and Tantra` in the process. A man from Kollegala` change the fortune of these two protagonists. Venkatesh Dixit 12 years of experience as assistant director in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films makes debut as director and also appears in the lead with Kiran Gowda.

One of the two protagonists Kiran Gowda soon going to London, Dharmatej is in prominent role with Deepa Gowda playing de-glam role, Venkatesh Dixit has penned story, dialogue and directed the film. Mass Madha and Thriller Manju have done stunts for this film. Lahari Velu and Kari Subbu were also present at the audio release.
