KOLARA – a film with name of the place is not new in Kannada filmdom. To the list adds Kolara` that is known for goldmines. The film is on the life sketch of rowdy Thangam. He was like mini Veerappan wanted by three states. Thangam had seven years underworld rule with clever knack was put down by a cop Shivakumar in 1997.

The good and bad days of Thangam collected by director Arya Mahesh is Kolaara` starring Yogish and Naina Server. Director Arya Mahesh has balanced plus and minus in making Kolara` Kannada film. It is Chinnada Neladalli Rakthadokuli`.

In Arya Films Lakshminarayana Gowda and Ramesh R invested a few crores on this film. The film was given A` certificate.

Music director Hemanth Kumar BR scored six songs for this film. The hero of the film Yogish has sung a song in this film. Darshan Kanaka cinematography, Teju editing, Mass Mada stunts, Aravind and Height Manju dance, Revanna Naik lyrics form the technical team. Yogish, Naina Server, Aditya Menon, Nan Kadavul Rajendran, Sangeetha Balan, Kempe Gowda, Ninasam Ashwath, Shiva Manju, Pooja, Sampath Kumar, Mohan Juneja, Shobaraj, Yathiraj, Vishwa and others are in the cast.

A farmer leader Kodihalli Chandrasekhar makes guest appearance and one day two of his films are releasing.
