On the other hand, another person has got embroiled into a controversy associated with the movie , and it is none other than director Vignesh Shivn.

Producer Mathialagan of Etcetera entertainment has reportedly planned to take legal action against Vignesh Shivn, for his tweets during the controversy referring to Kolaiyuthir Kaalam as an incomplete movie, alleging that this remark of the director has lead to distributors backing out of the project, and digital streaming deal also getting into trouble. Reportedly, discussions are on, as the producer plans to seek compensation from Vignesh Shivn for his tweets that have impacted the movie.
