Kodi Ramakrishna, BA Raju, Suma to receive FAAS-Dasari awards

Kodi Ramakrishna, BA Raju, Suma to receive FAAS-Dasari awards

Film Analytical and Appreciation Society (FAAS) has decided to give away the Dasari Cine Awards for the year 2018 on May 6, in Hyderabad.  The venue is Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha.  Veteran actress Jamuna will be there as the chief guest.  Kaikala Sathyanarayana will preside over the event.   B Jaya, the talented director, will start the 'sabha'.  

FAAS-Dasari Keerthi Kireeta Silver Crown awards have been conferred on senior director Kodi Ramakrishna and celebrated TV host Suma Kanakala.

Dasari Lifetime Achievement Award has been conferred on BA Raju, the multi-faceted personality who has been an editor, publisher, journalist, PRO, and a film producer.  Says BA Raju, "In the past, I received the Dasari Best Journalist Award.  I am very happy to have been conferred the Dasari Lifetime Achievement Award now."  

Sekhar Kammula is the year's Best Director of the year.  Suddala Ashok Teja is the best lyricist.  Madhu Priya is the best singer.  Director Vaddepalli Krishna has got an award for his film 'Lavanya With Love Boys'.  Sampoornesh Babu, Shiva Parvathi, music director Vasu Rao, dialogue-writer Sanjeevi, and others have also been conferred awards in various categories.
