Senior director Kodi Ramakrishna is directing a film titled 'Rani Ranamma' after a super hit film like Arundathi. Arjun and Lakshmi Rai play the lead roles in the film. R.Ramachandra Raju is producing this film under Sailaja productions banner. The film is going to be a sentiment action entertainer.
The launch of the film has been done at Annapurna studios in the presence of famous film personalities.
Dasari gave the clap, R.Ramachandra Raju switched on the camera.
The director Kodi Ramakrishna said, " The film will have all the elements what the audience expect from a Kodi Ramakrishna- Arjun film. The story of this movie will be very natural and every one will feel that this is their own story. The movie shows how the society changes a common man into a cruel beast. This movie will be an action thriller in a Srilanka backdrop. We have remixed the Rani Ranamma song for this movie. Along with Arjun and Lakshmi Rai, the role of Baby Anshu will be the key for this movie. The shooting of the movie completes in May and we are planning to release for Vijaya Dasami".
Arjun said, " I started my career in Telugu in 1984, with the film 'Maa Pallelo Gopaludu', directed by Kodi Ramakrishna sir. Then after I had acted in four films in his direction. This is the fifth film.This is a sentimental action entertainer in an emotional backdrop. I hope this movie becomes a big hit".
Lakshmi Rai thanked the director and producer for giving a very good role in the film.
The producer said, " I am very happy at producing this movie in a successful combination like Kodi Ramakrishna and Arjun. All the movies that Kodi Ramakrishna made with the theme of children are successful and we are confident that this movie also becomes a big hit. The movie completes with the schedules in Hyderabad, Rajamundry, Srilanka and Kerala".
