Commercial film heroes and heroines never tend to announce their real age. This rule is more strictly followed in the case of heroines and even the heroes, directors and producers of the films never relish their heroines revealing their age.

However mainstream cinema has been undergoing many welcome changes and one such thing is a notable number of prominent heroes and heroines have started revealing there real age.

The new addition to this list is actress Anupama Parameshwaran who shot to fame with her teenage girl Mary character in the cult hit 'Premam' and has made her Tamil debut playing the quirky girl next door Malathi in 'Kodi'.

While people believe that Anupama may well be in her early teens as she was so apt for the school-girl character she played in 'Premam', the talented lass revealed her real age at the time of shooting for Malayalam blockbuster.

In her exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz Anupama said she was doing her first year of under graduation while shooting for 'Premam' which means she should be 17 or 18 at that time.

Now she is 20 and with such an young age and huge talent, Anupama is all set to rule South Indian Cinema for many years to come.

In the same interview the lady hailing from God's own country said she is at present shooting for a film each in Malayalam and Telugu and she is yet to sign any new Tamil film.
