Earlier today, IndiaGlitz presented the Chennai Box Office Opening details of the two grand Diwali releases 'Kodi' and 'Kaashmora'. Now we have exclusive updates on the first dual role flicks of Dhanush and Karthi in Tamil Nadu as well as Worldwide Box office collections in the first weekend.

As far as Tamil Nadu Box Office is concerned both 'Kodi' and 'Kaashmora' have collected somewhere around 16 crores in first thee days with 'Kodi' getting a marginal lead.

As far as Worldwide collctions is concerned 'Kaashmora' has a notable lead with 'Kaashmora' raking around a whopping Rs.35 crores and 'Kodi' has managed to garner around Rs.27-28 crores from various parts of the globe. It is to be noted that both 'Kaashmora' and 'Kodi' have had a simultaneous Telugu (dubbed) release with the Telugu version of the former getting a bigger release.

Looking at the first three days performance in Tamil Nadu as well as Worldwide Box offices, one gets a strong impression that both the films are going to be remarkable hits and memorable films in the illustrious acting career of Karthi and Dhanush as well as the other cast and crew members of both the films. It is also worth noting that both 'Kaashmora' and 'Kodi' has strong female lead characters played by highly talented Nayanthara and Trisha.
