Sources say that, all multiplexes and other screens have been told to block Jan 10 which is supposed to be the tentative release date of the film. Theater owners across TN are sure to give priority to Rajni sirs's films.

Initially it was reported that the film which is the first Tamil film to be shot with Motion Capture technology will be released on December 12th which also happens to be Superstar's birthday. Though it did not pan out, fans can be assured of celebrating their icon's birthday with the songs of his upcoming film It has been already confirmed that the audio of the film scored by maestro A.R.Rahman, will be released on December 12, 2013.
