As promised, Soundarya R Ashwin, daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth and director of the mega animation and VFX extravaganza 'Kochadaiyan', has released the teaser into the market via 'Eros' International channel.

The teaser has the visuals of 3D model of Rajini doing his famous 48 fps walk, sword fighting the goons and singing and dancing in a stadium like arena inside a huge fort, entirely built in animation. The pixels look clean and the quality, impeccable. The teaser surely promises a visual feast supported by the likes of AR Rahman, Rajiv Menon etc in the crew. It doesn’t reveal the heroine though, perhaps keeping it for later trailers. In the end, an announcement of audio in October.

But the word will soon be out… Rajini became younger not with surgery or Lypo but with animation. The strategy is awesome, to recreate and restore a huge brand and make sure it will never get aged. Where it could score is a, foreign markets opening up with the animation content and b, more and more kids attracted to Brand Rajinikanth.
