The Story
K.S. Ravikumar pens an entertaining, periodical action adventure where a fearless warrior Rana (Rajinikinath) fights to restore his father Kochadaiiyaan's lost glory. At a time when the south of India was ruled by two warring Kings of Kalingpura - King Mahendra Raj (Jackie Shroff) and Kottaipattanam - King Rishikodayan (Naseer) the enmity between them separates Kottaipattanam loyal Kochadaiiyaan from his son who later leads the army of rival Kalingpura. After proving his loyalty to King Mahendra Raj Rana in grippingly interesting sequences manages to gain the confidence of the rival King Rishikodayan and how Rana wins back his father's pride from both the Kings forms the crux of this magnum opus.
What to look out for
Soundarya Rajinikanth in her very first attempt as a helmer turns brave heart having all the resources at her disposal she opts for a motion capture animation picture and writes Indian cinema's animation history.
