Former NBA Legend, Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, 41, and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif yesterday. Bryant was among the nine passengers who were traveling in the helicopter and everyone including the pilot were killed in the unfortunate event.

As the news of the Basketball legend's death arrived, social media was filled with condolence messages from netizens including celebrities. Music director Anirudh tweeted "Devastated and shocked. An integral part of our childhood. Rest in peace Kobe" and shared a photo of Kobe.

Actor Dhanush tweeted a photo of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, and tweeted "NO", expressing his sadness. Oscar winner AR Rahman who was in the Grammy awards event posted a photo of the tribute given in the event and posted "Rip Kobe" on Instagram.
