If early box-office reports are to be believed, 'Kobbari Matta' is slowly turning out to be a sleeper hit. Released this Saturday, it has been able to withstand the force (which is not much but it's still there, relatively) of 'Manmadhudu-2'.
For one, the spoof comedy has hit the chord, thanks to Sampoornesh Babu's image for pulling off absurdities with pride. The pre-release business, reportedly, was smart. So, distributors are potentially safe and are said to be asking for extra theatres to be added in view of the craze.
For the makers, especially Sai Rajesh, it's a moment of joy. The film was struck and was in the making for full 3-4 years due to various reasons. Finally, it has proved itself. The parodies, the comedy tracks involving Sampoo, Kathi Mahesh and Shakeela, among others, have received a decent response from the audience.
