'Kobbari Matta' Trailer: Of surreal heroism & subpar humour
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
The trailer for 'Kobbari Matta' minces no words when it comes to making it clear that the family man Sampoornesh Babu is no Kutumba Rao (watch the trailer to know why) in the film. But picture abhi baki hai! There is a Burning Star side to him (or is it a double role?) and he knows everything from how to dance like a man possessed to a hero who can lift a sumo as easily as any mass hero.
The parodic family entertainer makes use of everything from Shakeela's image to Kathi Mahesh's forgotten name. Director Rupak Ronaldson comes equipped with an unreal story that mixes surreal heroism and 'let-us-play-to-the-gallery' humour.
Written (story, screenplay and dialogues) by Steven Shankar, the film also has those Sampoo-elevation scenes and Sampoo-fied songs, which might be seen by the audience as so bad that they are so good. Music is by Kamran.
The comedy film will release on August 10.
