'Ko 2' is a political thriller directed by debutan Sharath who has worked as an associate in Thala Ajith's don flick 'Billa 2'.
The film touted to be a political thriller stars Bobby Simha and Nikki Galrani in the lead roles. Nikki Galrani plays a journalist in the film. while Prakash Raj plays the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. From the trailers and promos we could guess that the story deals with what happens when a common man kidnaps a CM and why does so.
The supporting cast includes Ilavarasu, John Vijay, Mayilsamy, Bala Saravanan a many others. Leon James has done the musical score. Philip R Sunder and Venkat M have handled the cinematography. Editing is by Kevin.
'Ko 2' has been produced by Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment banner. Though the film bears the title of super hit political thriller 'Ko' released in 2011, which is also produced by the same banner, this film does not have any resemblance or continuation of the story of 'Ko' directed by K.V.Anand.
'Ko 2' is all set to hit the screens on May 13, 2016.
