It was earlier reported that KV Anand’s ‘Ko’ will be made into a Bollywood film soon and political films expert, Prakash Jha, will be wielding the megaphone for this project. Now there are reports floating that this remake will be titled ‘Satyagraha.’ Since the film is a lot about politics and anti-socials the director has zeroed in on the name ‘Satyagraha,’ sources suggest.

There is also news doing the rounds that the director has roped in none other than Big B to portray an important role in this film. Will it be that of the wicked politician or will it be the role done by Prakash Raj, or will it be another special character created by the director to suit the Hindi audience? To get an answer to all these we will have to wait till more details on these emerge.

While there are many names being tossed up for the titular role, that of the photojournalist that Jiiva portrayed so well in ‘Ko’, Ranbir’s name tops the list. It was Ranbir who starred in Jha’s successful political thriller ‘Rajneethi.’

‘Satyagraha’ will be flagged off before April 2012 and the director is working on the script as well as on his cast and pre-production details now, reveal sources close to him.
