The Malayalam version of 'Duvvada Jagannadham' hasn't had a release date. Everything seemed set for release till only a few days back. Days after announcing the release date as July 14th, there has been no further information from the makers.

Hours ago, 'VIP-2' got postponed to August. A release date is not in sight for the next few days. (Since Tamil version won't be releasing, the Telugu version too had to be put on hold).

The reason has to do with delay in Censor board certification in the case of both the films. In Tamil Nadu, the Censor board is mired in "administrative red tapism". A bevy of films are waiting for certification even as post-GST issues have become a noose around Kollywood's neck.

"DJ Malayalam dubbed version ready but Censor getting delayed due to online procedure. No release date announcement & promotions," an analyst tweets.
