In an utterly gruesome string of crimes a 57 year old man had poisoned his colleagues' sandwiches over several years until being exposed. The crimes were committed in the town of Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock in Germany in a factory. The accused who has been identified as Klaus O was caught on a CCTV footage in 2018 in which he is seen opening a lunchbox and smearing a substance on the sandwich.
The kidneys of two of the victims have been severely damaged and one more is in a coma stage. On investigation, it has been found that the substance was toxic lead acetate, and there was enough to cause severe organ damage.
Klaus O refused to speak anything in the Germany Court which sentenced him for a lifetime in prison as the judge felt his crime was akin to murder. Psychologists have ascertained that the accused had conducted experiments on his colleagues just like how a scientist would on a rabbit or Guinea pig.
