According to the latest report by Times of India, KL Rahul is all set to tie the knot with his girlfriend Athiya Shetty between January and March 2023, after Team India’s Bangladesh tour. Sources tell us that the wicket keeper-batter had requested for ‘personal leave’, which was approved by the BCCI, reportedly.
It is said that the wedding is expected to be held at his to-be father-in-law’s luxury bungalow Jahaan in Khandala. Buzz is that the powerful batter’s parents had visited Mumbai some weeks ago to meet the Shetty family, and even saw the new house the couple will share.
