`Kismat Connection' one of the most awaited romantic flicks is special for several reasons.

       * The movie marks the return of the romantic ace filmmaker Aziz Mirza , the man behind many Shahrukh Khan hits `Chalte Chalte', `One Two Ka Four' etc

       * Music Director Pritam after hits such as `Jab We Met' ,'Race' etc has been accredited the entire album expected for the last number.

       * Shahid Kapoor who won the masses over with his loverboy performance in `Jab We Met' returns with yet another romantic flick.

The album comprises six originals and five remixes and opens to the beats of one of the most popular tracks currently on television- `Aai Papi'. The track takes off very much the western pop music style with siren beats thumping. The lyrics which really can't be figured out have been penned by Shabbir Ahmad who is able to create a real catchy phrase 'Aai Papi' enhanced by Neeraj Shreedar's vocals. The current promos and visuals have already assured this number to be a chartbuster. The remix version too is a treat.

What do you get when you combine the likes of Pritam, Sayeed Quadri , Atif Aslam and Alka Yagnik? `Bakhuda Tumi Ho' is Atif Aslam's next romantic chartbuster after `Pheli Nazar' from `Race'. Alka Yagnik too enhances Atif's presence and Sayeed Quadri's lyrics is sure to set the hearts on fire. The `club' version too provides for some good listening.

Hard Kaur opens the track entitled `Move your body' embedded with intense Bhangra beats. The song is soon spearheaded by Shaan, Akriti Kakkar and Suheil. The track provides for a good dance number especially when you have Shahid around. Shabbir Ahmad does well on the lyrics by trying to create a definite rhyme scheme but it falls a little flat when it comes to rhyming words like `party' and `naughty' .Pritam's composition to a certain extent reminds you of `Let's rock soniye' from `Bhool Bhulaiya'. The remix version too is pulsating.

Now Pritam tries to recreate the `Tum se hi `magic from `Jab We Met' and why not when the film concerns Shahid Kapur and Mohit Chauhan is just a step away. Now, Pritam comes in with `Is this love', which has some beautiful lines by Sayed Quadri and would have better been called `Kahin Na Laage'. Unlike `Tum se hi' which was an out an out a Mohit Chauhan track , `Is this love' also fuses in Shreya Ghosal who adds her romantic soul stirring bit. A complete hit!

Sajid-Wajid come in as guest composers for the album and exactly replicate their `Aaja Soniye' from `Mujshe Shaadi Karoge'. The track comes in as a big letdown as it lacks originality and evens the voices are just the same-`Sonu Nigam' and `Sunidhi Chauhan'. Remix too is boring.

The `Kismat Connection' album keeping aside the Sajid-Wajid bit , comes in as a complete charbusting treat from Pritam. Also with the likes of Shahid and Vidya enhanced by the ace of romance Aziz Mirza , we are sure the album is headed for a big hit.
