The pre-release event of 'Kirrak Party' was held on Tuesday night in Hyderabad. The event was graced by the film's cast and crew. Legislator Kishan Reddy and Naga Shaurya were the chief guests.
Kishan Reddy said, "I don't watch movies often. I know that Nikhil is an energetic actor. He works very hard. 'KP' is a film in the backdrop of a college. Years ago, we saw how film after film was based in Rayalaseema. Then started the trend of horror films. I hope that, after 'KP', college campus films will be made. I hope 'KP' is not only 'kirrak' but also has a message to deliver."
Naga Shaurya said, "Nikhil has made a name for himself in the industry without any background. I know him as a good friend. When I watched 'Happy Days', I felt that it would have been nice for me had I got to do his role. Seeing the trailer, I can say that everybody has put in an energetic effort. Should this film become a big hit, the producers will make 4-5 good films."
Director Sudheer Varma, the film's screenplay writer, said, "I wish that this film becomes a big hit for two reasons. If one is Anil Sunkara garu's passion for cinema, the other one is the amount of effort that Nikhil and Sharan Koppishetty have put in."
Director Chandoo Mondeti, the film's dialogue-writer, said, "Sharan had worked under me on 'Karthikeya'. For this film, I worked under him."
Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry said, "Ajaneesh has given a beautiful album. He has got a great future in music. I got to write three songs. The audiences are going to enjoy Nikhil's energy levels more in the theatre."
Director Sharan thanked the entire team and addressed Chandoo and Sudheer as elder brothers.
Anil Sunkara said, "We have made this film without compromising on the quality. I hope it will reach the expectations of the audience. We are fortunate that Chandoo and Sudheer have worked on our movie. Being directors themselves, they have worked on a film directed by their former assistant. All directors should have this spirit."
Nikhil said, "Sudheer Varma has penned nice dialogues. Chandoo readied a bounded script. The film tells the message that it's wrong to speak casually about girls. I always wanted to do a film under this banner. I finally got the opportunity.
The variations you are going to see in my acting in this film are many. I have never played such a role in the past. I am emotionally connected to the movie. I am missing the team.
This is our 'kirrak' gang's movie. We have become good friends offscreen as well. College is the film's first hero, Sharan is the second one."
