'Kirathaka', touted to be a distinct crime thriller, is all set to go on the floors on August 13. Starring Aadi SaiKumar and Payal Rajput in lead roles, it is also billed as a big-budgeted outing.

Helmed by M Veerabhadram (who is also its story and screenplay writer), it is being produced by industrialist Dr. Nagam Tirupathi Reddy.

The 'RX 100' actress will be seen in a performance-oriented role. "The story of the thriller instantly captivated me. This is my first outing with Aadi and I am excited about it," she said. On Thursday, the makers released two posters, one of which has an intense Aadi thinking hard, while the other one has him romancing the glamorous Payal.

Described as a perfect crime thriller, the film will see 'Avunu' actress Poorna as a powerful police officer. Also featuring Dasari Arunkumar and Dev Gill, the film will be mounted on a lavish scale. The music and cinematography are by Suresh Bobbili and Raam Reddy, respectively.

'Kirathaka', which is the costliest movie in Aadi's career, will lock its release date after its shoot is completed.
